Developers and DIYers often have spare parts that they would like to hold onto for future use but have a hard time storing them without loosing things or having a mess. It is about time we all got a bit more organized. For your tiny components there is a new product here. It is a smart organizing and storage box for all your little pieces, called Chipseasy.
Chipseasy is a small box with software that helps keep inventory without a mess of components. The box has 8 drawers with 64 storage units per drawer, giving you the ability to store up to 512 different components. These spaces are very small so you would not be able to store anything bigger than a cubic half-inch. The size is very restrictive and goes to show this product is specifically intended for small components and screws.
Chipseasy has software to categorize all things stored and easy to find. Simply input what you put in and where and let the software take care of the rest. The software will keep track of how much of what you have but the best part is that it keeps track of where things are in the box. When you need something, just type or speak into your mic what you need and the correct drawer opens automatically so you do not have to have all 512 slots memorized. Another great feature of the Chipseasy software is its ability to keep inventory. This lets you know when you have plenty, or if you are low or out of a product.
For all small electronics assemblers out there, this is a good tool to optimize potential. No more ordering more of what you already have or searching for it too hard. I would love to see a product like this in the future with larger containers, but for its specific usage Chipseasy seems to be perfect. Let us know what you think in the comment section below.
