ONEaudio has brought the first true wireless hi-fi surround sound system to the market, the ONEmicro. The speakers are small enough to be a portable surround sound system for at home or on the go with up to 20 hours of continuous use battery life.
ONEmicro is truly innovative. Most speakers fall short when it comes to connectivity in becoming wireless. Bluetooth is the most popular form of connection, but the problem with a Bluetooth connection is that it does not support multiple channels. Some have tried wifi to get the connectability, but wifi is not very reliable for the synchronized sound. Wifi tends to lag and skip. ONEaudio DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication) technology is different. DECT was originally used in cordless phones, and ONEaudio is the first to integrate it into audio products. It can support a 6-channel connection with perfect synchronization. ONEmicro’s transmitter (the ONEbox.mini) is compatible to connect through wifi, TOSLINK, usb, and usb ram. All you have to do is plug in the ONEbox.mini to your device and place the ONEmicro speakers around the room. It will broadcast the DECT signal to all ONEmicro speakers in the 50 meter range.
While the speakers themselves are small, they are made of 4mm of cast iron in a professional looking cylindrical case. This gives the six hand-sized speakers the ability to fill a room with sound up to 350 square feet. The subwoofer has a 6.5” driver in a sealed enclosure design, giving it the ability to produce bass sounds as low as 30 Hz. This design costs about twice as much, but you do get what you pay for. It has a better sound than a 10” ported design.
ONEmicro is small, which makes it portable and easy to install in less than one minute. For quality sound and easy installation, check it out. You will not be disappointed. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.
